Sydney Rogers testifies before the U.S. House of Representatives’ Committee on Science
On July 21st, Sydney Rogers, Vice President of Community and Economic Development at Nashville State Community College, testified before the U.S. House of Representatives’ Committee on Science. The purpose of her presentation was to “examine the challenge of educating skilled workers within the context of a world that is vastly different from the world when [she] began [her] career 30 years ago… it is important to understand this new context in order to adequately understand what is needed to design and implement education programs that will develop a world-class competitive workforce, with respect to cyber security.”
By all accounts, Sydney presented an impressive program. Her performance brought our name and work to the attention of our nation’s leaders.
