Big Picture thinker.. More interested in students developing knowledge than memorizing factual information

Able to deliver instructions with spontaneity without always having "the right answer"... taking advantage of unique student viewpoints and unanticipated classroom discussion

Willing to provide with a variety of learning experiences, and willing to learn with students

Able to maintain a classroom environment which focuses on team learning.
Broad academic content knowledge .can relate content to mathematics, science, business, politics, economics, etc.

Team player..is comfortable working with business people, consultants, classroom visitors/speakers, etc. Can deal with new curriculum content and methodology, and make adjustments to accommodate differences in student's abilities

 

 
 
Steps need to be put in place to evaluate the success of an academy. Data can be collected through observation, surveys, follow-ups, enrollment reports, graduation rates, dropout rates and formal and informal feedback from parents, students and employers.
